Excellent. The palette, of course, is eye-catching, but it's the composition that really works for me here. It leads the reader's eye very efficiently across the image.

Thanks, Julien! Usually I would prepare a number of sketches to test out possible compositions, and once one of those is approved, I would prepare a "finished" version. But this time I've got lucky and got it down on paper very early on in the process (a looming deadline probably helped a lot with that ;)), and I actually inked right over the rough sketch-- no time to get fancy! :D

Genial, Diego! Me encanta, como siempre, la paleta limitada y tan bien aprovechada y tu trazo tan expresivo. La composición y los pequeños detalles construyen perfectamente la idea -el personaje anónimo encapuchado, la figura del caballero, la comida... Vamos, que la imagen sola ya funciona a nivel narrativo a la perfección. Eso es lo que ha de tener una buena ilustración, creo yo ;)

Muchas gracias, César! Intento básicamente hacer lo que comentabas, a veces sale bien, otras no tanto, pero bueno, se hace lo que se puede. :D Un poco la idea de limitar la paleta es por la medida en que el dibujo sale impreso en la revista (13 x 9 cm), así que trato de hacerlo de la manera más económica posible. Aunque a esta altura creo que si fuera algo de mayor tamaño, también intentaría resolver con la menor cantidad de recursos que pueda. :)

Te sale genial, créeme :) Lo que comentas es muy acertado, creo yo. La imagen ha de comunicar de manera directa el mensaje así que la economía de medios,  la composición/paleta de color juegan muy a tu favor en ese sentido ;)

Todo suma, también creo que hay una cuestión de gustos, lo cual por supuesto es totalmente válido, pero en líneas generales me doy cuenta que mis gustos van más por el minimalismo que por otro lado. :) Y también es más rápido de hacer. :D
